If last year’s animated hit movie DAVID is one you’re searching for, you might be surprised to discover it’s now available on Netflix, in addition to Angel. What might be even more surprising? The movie has been in the top 10 of ALL Netflix offerings during its first couple of weeks on the platform.
DAVID joins a growing list of faith films that have enjoyed success on mainstream services like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
HOUSE OF DAVID enjoyed great Season 1 success as a Prime release before moving to Wonder Project to launch Season 2. The upcoming Season 6 of THE CHOSEN will premiere on Prime this fall before moving to its own app and other outlets.
Netflix saw great success a few years back with faith-focused movies BLUE MIRACLE and A WEEK AWAY, both of which were among the most-watched movies when they launched.
As a Faith Film Fan, it’s encouraging to know that great stories like these and others are finding audiences on mainstream platforms.
