But don\u2019t just take our word \u2026 publications like <em>The Wall Street Journal<\/em> and <em>Variety<\/em> are writing in-depth, positive stories about faith-based entertainment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thewonderproject.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Well_Religious-Hollywood-PU_16368697.pdf\"><em>The Journal<\/em> story<\/a> focused on The Wonder Project and its first offering, <strong>HOUSE OF DAVID<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c(Jon) Erwin, 42, is a Christian filmmaker whose driving purpose is to put out uplifting stories that families can watch together. After nearly two decades of making small-budget movies in the parallel world of faith-based entertainment, he\u2019s part of a loose tribe of filmmakers, producers, and independent studios from that realm now storming into the mainstream.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will be able to watch <strong>HOUSE OF DAVID<\/strong> on Amazon Prime beginning in February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2024\/tv\/news\/tv-heartland-country-shows-thinkfactory-nashville-itv-america-1236173463\/\">The <em>Variety<\/em> article<\/a> focuses on \u201cheartland\u201d entertainment and the potential unscripted shows can have in the faith space. Nick Barnes, an agent with UTA, shared his thoughts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c\u2018Some of the things we haven\u2019t tackled yet is, what does heartland unscripted mean in faith and family?\u2019 Barnes said. \u2018Faith and family is a buzzword often turned around by the buyers. We know that it\u2019s working on the scripted side, working with <strong>The Chosen<\/strong>, it\u2019s working with films coming out of Lionsgate, it\u2019s working with Jon Erwin\u2019s new company and Amazon. That\u2019s all scripted content. But what remains to be seen is what is going to happen in unscripted.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Which gets us wondering \u2026 what do YOU think would make for a good, unscripted, faith-based program?
