It’s an exciting time to be a fan of THE WINGFEATHER SAGA! Based on the beloved 4-book series from author (and singer) Andrew Peterson, this popular animated series for your whole family just launched Season 3 on the Angel platform.
But that’s not all … the team at Wingfeather took seasons 1 and 2 (13 episodes in all) and created an amazing 2-hour compilation movie called The Journey Begins, which is now streaming on Angel. You can learn more about the movie from the show’s executive producer and showrunner, Chris Wall, in this recorded livestream video.
As the name indicates The Journey Begins is a great way to enter into the show if you’re new to the series. For longtime fans, it’s an opportunity to relive the most exciting moments of the first two seasons before diving back into the new Season 3 episodes, which began releasing on November 12.
In a recent story on Movieguide, we learned that David Oyelowo, Tantoo Cardinal, and Henry Witcher have all joined the Wingfeather cast this season. They join the returning cast, which includes Jodi Benson, Kevin McNally, Alkaio Thiele, and Matthew Rhys.
The story goes on to quote Jordan Harmon, the president of Angel Studios, talking about THE WINGFEATHER SAGA:
“As parents, my wife and I are always looking for shows that are creative, entertaining, and inspire wonder. THE WINGFEATHER SAGA has been a favorite for my entire family since the first episode.
