The Crown Awards are the longest-running faith-based film awards. February 2026 marked the 53rd annual celebration of Christian-focused media. The International Christian Visual Media hosts its Crown Awards each year at the NRB national conference.
Among the winners in Crown’s 22 categories was the recently released Still Hope, which earned three awards, including Best Actress for Luna Rivera who plays the title character. The movie also won Best Theatrical Release and the overall Best Picture awards.
Based on true stories, the movie takes a different approach to the horrors of sex trafficking. As the movie’s website shares:
“After finding freedom from her captors, Hope discovers that survival is only the first step. Inspired by true stories, Hope’s journey is a powerful illustration of the courage it takes to walk the complex path of recovery.”
While not yet available for viewing at home, churches can show the movie between now and June 30 through Faith Content Network.
Other Winners
Neal McDonough won best actor for his role in Angel Studios’ The Last Rodeo. Other winners included:
- No Address (Best Limited Theatrical Release)
- October 7 (Best Non-Theatrical Release)
- Unshakable Moxie (Best TV Series)
- Jungle Kids: Welcome to Our World (Best Children’s)
