One thing you can count on with THE CHOSEN: it’s easy to find a viewing home, no matter where you consume programs.
With the recent launch of the animated THE CHOSEN ADVENTURES series, the trend continues. After an initial launch on Amazon Prime Video (where it ranked among the streaming service’s top 10 shows), the series can now also be seen on Minno, the kid-focused streaming service for Christian families.
While THE CHOSEN ADVENTURES includes the characters (and the actors) you know and love from THE CHOSEN, the animated series centers around 9-year-old Abby, her friend Joshua, and others in her world.
As the show’s website says, “Abby has big opinions, big questions, and a penchant for mischief. … When Abby meets Jesus, everything changes!”
In a USA Today story about the program, Jonathan Roumie (who voices Jesus in the show) says,
“I wanted to approach it just a little bit softer because he is coming in for these moments of teaching and wisdom. You don’t get the fullness of the conversations with Jesus on the adult level, but you get the important nuggets of wisdom that kids I think will be able to draw from and use in their own lives.”
The first season of THE CHOSEN ADVENTURES has 14 episodes, each between 10- and 13-minutes long.
